Beyond Method 2

The customizable homepage would probably work best for the public library.  I am in a school library and we do all of our work through the school district's website.  However, I see that this could work very well for me personally.  I like iGoogle since I seem to work from many of the Google Tools quite frequently.  It would save lots of time.
